Colorectal - Category 2 Factors Radial margin status
When possible the surgeon should label or mark the radial margin.
The non-peritonealized surface over the deepest extent of the tumor should be inked and reported separately.
The entire external surface of the rectum is considered a radial margin.
If negative histologically, distance from radial margin should be reported.
