Dr. Li received his Ph.D. degree in pharmacognosy (analytical chemistry) at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His Anatomic and Clinical Pathology training was completed at UTHSC. Subspecialty fellowship training was undertaken at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in the area of GI/Liver Pathology. Beginning in 2023, Dr. Li serves as a staff pathologist at St. Joseph Hospital, Orange California.
